Never worry about your bike getting stolen again with this Apple AirTags deal

Get a great deal on AirTags this Amazon Prime Day

Apple

Whether you travel frequently with your bike or want to keep it as secure as possible at home, fitting multiple covert Apple AirTags into its frame and parts is a wise move.

Apple's AirTags use encrypted Bluetooth data and its Find My network to keep tabs on where each AirTag is.

The tag's location data is transmitted to Apple anonymously via nearby iPhones, but your personal AirTag's location is visible for you to see.

It's a great way to find out where your bike, bike bag, or any of your bike's components are at any given time.

What's more, you can get a great deal on a set of four AirTags this Amazon Prime Day, with the price reduced from £119 to £84.

Brands such as Muc-Off make AirTag holders for bikes specifically, with multiple mounting locations including your bottle cage bosses and inside your tubeless tyres.

But other places, such as inside your frame's tubes, your fork's steerer tube or inside your pedal crank's axle are excellent, more discreet places to stash an AirTag.

The benefits of tracking

Fitting multiple AirTags to your bike is a great idea in case it gets stolen and broken up for parts; you should be able to track the forks, wheels, frame and any other bits individually.

If you're travelling with your bike a lot, there's a chance it may get lost by an airline.

Knowing exactly where it is at all times, if it made it onto the airplane or reached your destination, not only gives you peace of mind, but if you need to track or locate it, the job is made easy by this simple and relatively inexpensive bit of tech.

A great deal

Amazon is currently selling a four-pack of Apple AirTags with a 29 per cent discount, costing only £84 instead of £119.

That's a cracking deal to rest happy in the knowledge your bike is that bit safer.
