This year’s UCI Road World Championships are shaping up to be one of the most spectacular in cycling history. Held in Innsbruck, an Austrian town nestled at the foot of the Alps, the event will take place from 22 to 30 September and will welcome some of the world’s best road cyclists.
To help spread the word about the action-packed event, its organisers have created the Grand Fondo Team Tirol, made up of former pro riders and dedicated cyclists. Three winners will have the chance to join the Grand Fondo Team at the upcoming Prudential RideLondon festival to represent the UCI on 28 and 29 July.
The winners will spend Saturday night with the team in London and have a meet and greet at the Rapha store before riding alongside pro cyclists and committee officials. They will also receive the official UCI World Championships kit, complete with jersey and shorts, so they can look the part.
