BikeRadar Bargains: 4 of the best GoPro deals

Discounted diminutive cameras

While the action camera market is considerably more saturated than it was way back in 2006 when GoPro launched its first Hero, GoPro remains class leader and we've been consistently impressed by its kit. So for this week's edition of BikeRadar Bargains we've rounded up the best GoPro deals from around the web.

GoPro Hero 6 Black — £499.99 £399

The GoPro Hero6 black has a raft of improvements over the Hero5. While it shares the same body, it has touchscreen controls, 12MP resolution still images, video quality up to 4K at 60fps and 1080p at 240fps, and three-axis software stabilization… and more besides.

And of course the Quik feature, which will automatically edit your footage together if you don't have time or want to get your ride up online ASAP!

GoPro Hero 5 — £399.99 £299.90

The Hero 5 may have been replaced by the 6, but it's still an amazing camera

Our video team reviewed GoPro's Hero 5 last year and were very impressed by the performance of this little camera. While the camera has been superseded by the Hero 6, it's still a great bit of kit and there are a handful of deals out there.

It's got a good £100 saving on RRP at Chain Reaction Cycles right now, not bad!

GoPro Hero Session  — £299.99 £174

The Session 5 is one of the smallest action cameras on the market

If you're just after a super small camera and don't mind losing out on some of the manual controls that the Hero 5 offers, this is the camera for you.

The image stabilisation isn't quite as refined as its full-sized sibling, and performance suffers in the cold, but the image quality is up there with the very, very best.

GoPro Hero 3 Silver edition (refurbished) — £99.99

A GoPro for under a £100?
A GoPro for under a £100?

While not the flashiest camera available today, the GoPro Hero 3 Silver was a class leading camera in its time, and this certified refurbished model includes a start pack with new battery, adhesive mounts and accessories.

It may have a few cosmetic flaws, but it's been thoroughly tested to pass a strict testing process and has a 12 month warranty, making it a great budget choice for budding filmmakers out there.

Buy two refurbished units direct from GoPro for the price of the Hero 5 and have change to spare to make a #sick edit on a budget.
