Held in Monte Carlo, Like Bike is a little different from most bike shows. It celebrates the most luxurious and expensive bikes on the market.
With prices ranging from costly to mind-bendingly expensive, the show offers plenty of drool-inducing bike porn to lust over. Here, in ascending order are 10 of the most expensive bikes that will be on show from 3 to 5 April at Like Bike.
Besv Lion LX1
The first e-bike on our list has a beam-style design with an aluminum frame that’s produced using the same manufacturing process as Moto GP bikes.
The Lion LX1’s electric motor sits on the rear wheel for maximum efficiency. This is further enhanced by SmartMode, which takes into account current riding conditions to provide power intelligently as you ride. A high-power headlight is incorporated into the stem, and there’s also a large display on the top giving ride and bike data. It’s also got a key-turn start, which is just cool.

Stromer ST2
Stromer touts the ST2 as being “the most technologically advanced e-bike”. A powerful 500w Syno Frive motor gives 35Nm of torque while a proprietary Li-Ion battery offers a 150km range.
Digital connectivity is key for Stromer, so the brand has included a new user interface to provide wireless interaction between bike and app, allowing remote tuning of the ST2’s settings and anti-theft activation.

Guapa Urban One
We’ve featured the Urban One before and marveled at its distinctive handmade wooden frame. A combination of bamboo and flax give structure, distinctive looks and impact absorption. A Gates carbon belt drive means a simple maintenance-free drivetrain.
A limited first production of five bikes will be on show at Like Bike, with bespoke models available to order.

Rotwild R.E1+FS27.5
With the catchily named R.E1+FS27.5, German brand Rotwild seeks to provide enduro riders with a performance-orientated e-bike. In fact, the brand boldly declares the R.E1+ to be “the perfect enduro bike”.
The frame is made from hydroformed 6066 T6 aluminum, though the down tube is carbon with battery integration. With Fox’s top-end Factory Kashima suspension front and back, SRAM X0 drivetrain, Shimano XT brakes and DT Swiss E1700 Spline wheels, the spec matches the asking price.

Dassi Aero Road 6.2
British brand Dassi has garnered plenty of attention in Europe, thanks in part to its unintentionally Italian-sounding name as well as the custom service the brand offers its customers. From April, Dassi’s bikes will also be manufactured in the UK.
This Toray 700 carbon Aero Road 6.2 frame is built up with Dassi’s 88mm deep carbon wheels along with Shimano Ultegra and 3T finishing kit.

Pininfarina Fuoriserie
These eye-catching, luxury bespoke bikes are hand built in Italy and only 30 will ever be made. The steel frame uses chrome-plated Deda Zero DR tubing and the top tube is wrapped in walnut with brown interlaced leather saddle and grips to match.
The H+Son Sl 42 (rear) and TB14 (front) wheels are made from G609 aluminum alloy and have a claimed weight of 415g each. There’s also a miniaturized electric motor to aid pedaling and an E3 Pure 205-lumen dynamo lamp at the front. It truly is uniquely beautiful.

SPA Bicicletto
Perhaps the first e-bike to make us openly drool with lust, the Bicicletto’s 500w system gives a top speed of 45km/h with a range of 120km. The electric throttle also enables use without pedaling within a 50km range.
The carbon frame and fork are covered with a motorbike-style seat that integrates storage, electronic display and rear lights that also act as indicators. The bike uses 26in wheels with Formula T1 brakes and also features an integrated LED headlamp. This feature-packed machine costs just shy of £9,000.

Nevi Spinas
Born in 1992 from a desire to stand out from other brands, Nevi adopted titanium as its material of choice and still builds all its beautifully crafted frames in Italy today. Nevi’s Spinas road bike is made from varying titanium grades and features a teardrop-shaped down tube.
The welding is bewilderingly smooth and the bike is equipped a titanium fork where most builders would settle for carbon. Add in Dura-Ace Di2 and deep section wheels and the Spinas almost sounds a bargain.

T-Red Bestianera Montecarlo Edition
T-Red’s ultra-light Bestianera Montecarlo Edition was created by Italian designer Romolo Stanco and is surely the world’s most outrageous hybrid.
The Bestianera Montecarlo Edition has an aggressively styled carbon frame and the bike features both the first disc-equipped three-spoke wheel we’ve ever seen, and the first bullhorn bars with actual horns.

Moynat Malle Bicyclette
Founded in 1849 by Pauline Moynat, Paris’s only female trunk-maker, Moynat has a long tradition of creating ultra high end, fashionable and expensive luxury luggage. The smart step-through city bike seen here is made by Italian custom builder Abici Italia, a brand whose predilection towards vintage styling fits perfectly with what you’re really paying for in the Malle Bicyclette – Moynat’s picnic trunk.
The voluminous lunch carrier is mounted over the front wheel and contains porcelain goblets as well as plates and cutlery, all ensconced in fine French craftsmanship.
