With the Tour de France set to start on Saturday, Team Cofidis has revealed its race bike for the Grande Boucle.
Snappily named the Look 795 Blade RS Iconic Black Radial, the bike features a striking paintjob that riffs on a classic design from the French bike company. It also has the new Campagnolo Super Record 13-speed Wireless groupset, which launched last month.
This race bike won’t be reserved only for the Tour de France. It’s available from today through Look’s website and select retailers, for £13,999 / $15,400 / €13,999.
Riffing on a classic paintjob

Look updated the 795 Blade RS back in 2023. It borrows construction techniques from Look’s T20 track bike to reduce weight – the frame weighs 890g in a size small – while increasing stiffness.
When it launched, the race bike had the block colours that have become synonymous with Look. These are the colours of one of cycling’s greatest teams, La Vie Claire, which were based on the work of Dutch abstract artist Piet Mondrian.
A contributor to the De Stijl art movement, Mondrian’s paintings stuck to rectangular and square grids, something Look has also employed with its designs. At least until now.

Cofidis’ 795 Blade RS for the 2025 Tour de France takes the classic yellow, red and blue colours but swirls them over black, giving the bike a more contemporary feel.
“The Iconic Black Radial finish captures what French performance design is all about – minimalism, precision, and intent,” says Federico Musi, CEO of Look. “It’s more than paint. It’s the visual signature of a bike built to win.”
Campagnolo Super Record 13 Wireless

While the 795 Blade RS might be a few years old, its finishing kit is not.
Team Cofidis will be using the Campagnolo Super Record 13 Wireless groupset, which launched in June.
Having dropped its famous thumb shifter from 2023’s Super Record Wireless, Campagnolo’s latest flagship groupset sees its return.
But this isn’t a rerun. The Italian brand says everything about the new groupset has been updated or refined, with the aim of creating a new “benchmark” for the cycling industry.

This includes weight, with Super Record 13 Wireless coming in at 2,435g and claimed to be the lightest electronic road bike groupset with disc brakes.
Elsewhere, Team Cofidis will be using Campagnolo’s Bora Ultra WTO Ultra 60 Team Edition wheelset. The wheels launched last year with an aerodynamic teardrop rim shape, hooked rims and a 23mm internal rim width.
Campagnolo said that greater internal rim width would “guarantee a larger [tyre] surface in contact with the ground”. It’s on trend with what other road bike wheel manufacturers, such as Zipp, are doing, even if the 795 Blade RS’s 32mm maximum tyre clearance is beginning to look a little conservative.
