3T's original Strada frame and fork flipped conventional road wisdom on its head. It was an aero bike that used wide tires and a single-ring drivetrain. Now, 3T is introducing a more affordable version called the Strada Pro.

"We believe so strongly in the Strada that we always wanted to offer it in multiple versions," said Gerard Vroomen, 3T Head of Design.
"An important part of that is offering a complete bike at a more affordable price. We’re only active in the high-end performance segment, but within that segment and without watering down the performance of our bikes, we do want to make them available to as many people as possible."
Same performance, a bit more weight
According to 3T, the Strada Pro shares the same strength, stiffness, and aerodynamics as its Strada Team frame and fork. By using a more simple and therefore heavier carbon layup, roughly 150 grams of weight are added (1,120g vs 970g for the Team frame).
Complete bikes come outfitted with the current top-tier single-ring drivetrain, SRAM's Force CX1 along with Force hydraulic disc brakes.
Pro road team to race on single-ring 3T bikes
Tire clearance remains the same, around a 28mm tire depending on rim width. With the close wheel-tucking aero tubing, 3T recommends 25mm tires for muddy rides.
The finishing kit is comprised of 3T's own Charlie Sqaero Strada seatpost and Aeronova Team Stealth handlebar and tape, along with a San Marco Aspide 2 saddle.
3T Strada Pro pricing and availability
3T states it has tripled production capacity as of January 2018 and the Strada Pro is available now through its dealers. Pricing starts at $4,990 / €4,990. (UK and Australian pricing were not immediately available.)
