Bianchi recalls Impulso RC due to risk of handlebar breakage

A quality-control inspection identified a defect in the carbon handlebar

Bianchi has recalled its Impulso RC road bike and Impulso RC handlebar after a quality-control inspection identified a defect in the integrated carbon fibre handlebar.

In a recall notice published on its website in November, Bianchi said the following products are included in the recall:

  • All Bianchi Impulso RC bikes purchased and delivered until 20 November 2025 with the following codes: YTB84 – YUB80 – YUB81, which are mounted as standard on the Impulso RC handlebar.
  •  Bianchi Impulso RC integrated carbon handlebar in all sizes with the following codes C2306238/ C2306226.

Bianchi says the Impulso RC bike codes can be found on the invoice, and possibly on the receipt and/or warranty card. The handlebar code can be found on the underside of the bar, next to the stem bolts.

The handlebar was mounted as standard on Impulso RC gravel bikes purchased up to 20 November 2025, and Bianchi says the defect could result in the handlebar breaking during use.

Bianchi says you should stop using your bike immediately if it's equipped with the Impulso RC handlebar and that you should not use the Impulso RC bar under any circumstances.

If you own an affected bike or bar, the Italian brand says you should contact your Bianchi dealer to arrange a free-of-charge replacement of the handlebar. You can find a full list of Bianchi dealerships here.

The Bianchi Impulso RC was launched in 2023 and was the brand’s first aerodynamically optimised gravel race bike.
