This Friday, Immediate Media employees will be taking on a 130-mile ride from the company’s London offices in Hammersmith to its Bristol base – all to raise money for the Prince’s Trust.
BikeRadar’s editor-in-chief, Jeff Jones, Cycling Plus editor Rob Spedding and ProCycling’s Jamie Wilkins and Simon Barnes and lead developer Sam George will be among the 15 hardy souls taking on the point-to-point ride, which is likely to take place under a deluge of torrential rain.
The Prince’s Trust does incredible work unlocking the potential of thousands of disadvantaged young people every year. Its work, and the amazing stories of its Young Ambassadors, have inspired these cyclists – experienced and new to two wheels alike – to don their helmets and reach for the chamois cream.
One-hundred-and-thirty wet and windy miles will mean sore bums as well as legs, so take pity and help support the Prince’s Trust by visiting the event’s JustGiving page. Immediate will be matching the donation fund up to £2,000, so every pound you donate is instantly doubled.
