Boutique aluminum bike company Low recently released details of the latest bike in its all-alloy line. The MKII CX is a high-end, American-made cyclocross racer that’s available just in time for this year’s ’cross season.
The MKII CX is the company’s first production cyclocross frame. It’s constructed from custom-butted 7005 aluminum tubing. Low uses double-pass TIG welds, which give the junctions a smooth, seamless appearance — similar to those you would find on one of Cannondale’s CAAD series frames.

The MKII CX is disc-specific with internal cable routing for the shift cables and rear brake line. The frame features slender, ovalized chainstays intended to take the edge off rough courses.

Pricing for the MKII CX with ENVE fork is $2,450 / £1,885 / AU$3,181. The company offers custom geometry for a $200 / £155 / AU$260 upcharge.
Low builds its frames at its headquarters in San Francisco.
