This striking custom-painted Canyon Speedmax CF 9.0 TT bike belongs to 2012 Ironman World Champion Leanda Cave, and has been given an stylish paintjob by renowned Brazilian-born neo-pop artist Romero Britto.
The bike was unveiled in Kona, Hawaii, on Friday and is being auctioned on Charity Buzz to raise funds for the UnitedHealthcare Children's Foundation, which provides grants for children’s healthcare. Final bids will take place on 28 October.
The Speedmax has been given the Miami-based artist’s recognisable patchwork of striking colour, which is sure to add to the value of the bike – it's already worth around US$11,500 (£7,150) in this build, complete with Dura-Ace Di2 and Mavic CXR 60 and 80 tub wheels.
