TRP were showing off their new Dash and Dash Carbon hydraulic disc brakes at the Eurobike trade show along with their new R970SL road brake calipers.

The Dash has been two years in the making and is available with either alloy or carbon levers for £149.99 (US$229) or £199.99 ($299) per wheel respectively.

With a one-piece forged alloy caliper, semi-metallic pads and weighing in at 320g (front post-mount with 160mm rotor) both the Dash and Dash carbon have a tool-free reach adjust screw.

The Dash Carbon also gets a tool-free ‘power adjuster’ – a dial that alters how much the caliper bites onto the rotor from a scale of ‘over the bars with soft touch’ to ‘just right'.

Weighing in at 104g per end, the arms on the R970SL dual pivot caliper brakes are constructed from forged magnesium and incorporate a handy sliding quick-release.

Titanium hardware, SwissStop cartridge pads and compatibility with Shimano’s Dura-Ace 7900 groupset make these £399.99 ($600) stoppers an attractive proposition for high-performance riders.
