Wales will have its own bike show in 2014 with top brands such as Condor, Bianchi, Raleigh and Trek along for the ride.
The two day Welsh Cycle show – announced today – will be held at the Newport velodrome on 5-6 April 2014. One of the show's partners is Merlin Cycle Sport who also announced dates of its two popular sportives, the Merlin Ride (29 June) and the Welsh Coast 2 Coast (12 July).
The show will also feature a mountain bikes skills assessment area, track sessions, and bike demo opportunities with participating brands. More activities will be announced later, say organisers.
Tickets for the show are being sold online now via the Welsh Cycle Show website. Adults' tickets cost £10 and under-15s are £5.
