This is the Colnago C59 Italia, available to buy now for £3,299.95 (frame, fork and headset), and the bike on which Team Bbox Bouygues Telecom are currently riding at the Tour de France.
Built up here with Shimano’s Dura-Ace Di2 electronic groupset and Dura-Ace wheelset, the frame uses a range of reinforced tube shapes to make it rigid and resistant to torsion under extreme efforts.
The fork has been reinforced and the chainstays have an oversized, rectangular profile, which Colnago claim keeps lateral flex to a minimum. Additional touches include internal cable routing and special shaping under the bottom bracket to accept the Di2 battery.
