We had our first look at Sunn’s 2010 mountain bikes during the Eurobike Trade show, and now we’ve got the Kern S2 in to test.

The Kern series of full-suspension bikes falls under the company’s all-mountain range, and the S2 is the cheapest at £1,999,99.

It’s got 140mm of travel up front provided by a RockShox Revelation SL fork, and the RockShox Monarch 2.1 rear shock gives 140mm of travel.

Weighing in at a claimed 28.9lb (13.1kg), the Kern S2 has a Truvativ Firex 3.1 crankset, a mix of SRAM X5 and Shimano SLX for shifting, and Formula RX hydraulic disc brakes for stopping.

Mountain Biking UK magazine will be putting the S2 to the test, so look out for a review in an upcoming issue. We’re expecting the swoopy yellow swingarm to split opinion – what do you think? Let us know below.
