Future, the special interest media group and world's leading cycling publisher has announced that BikeRadar Live 2010, the UK's ultimate bike festival, will take place on the weekend of the 10th – 11th July at Brands Hatch in Kent.

A weekend celebration of all things cycling, a total of 8,500 riders and their families came to the inaugural event in 2009 at Donington Park. 2010's event promises to be even more fun with more riders, more pros, more features and more races!

The great new venue located in the Garden of England will provide a fantastic sportive route through the North Downs, better viewing facilities of the dual slalom course and track so visitors can get closer to the action, a bigger Expo area, an all-weather mountain bike loop, and world class camping facilities, and in its prime location will attract visitors from London and the South East.

BikeRadar Live 2009 saw attendance from key trade names such as Dahon, Fisher Outdoor Leisure, Moore Large, Extra Leisure Lakes, Raleigh, Scott, Ison, Giant and Garmin to name a few.

Whatever you ride, BikeRadar Live offers you a chance to test-ride the latest road and mountain bikes, see the pros in action, ride the iconic Brands Hatch circuit on your own bike, or challenge yourself in one of the many races and challenges. Whether you want to ride 1k or 100k, on the road or off-road, there is something for every type of cyclist.

BikeRadar Live 2009 saw some of the biggest names in cycling wow the crowds with their skill - stars such as Graeme Obree, Stephen Roche, World Champion Steve Peat, Brian Lopes, Gee Atherton, Greg Minaar, Sam Reynolds, Danny MacAskill and Formula 1 driver Mark Webber plus many more.

BikeRadar Live 2010 will be bigger and better with more to see and do for the whole family. The festival's many attractions will include spectacular all-weather stunt displays, dirt jump and dual slalom competitions, a cycling film festival and live big top entertainment including evening entertainment and bands. Festival-goers will be able to grab show-only deals on bikes and accessories in a purpose-built bike and accessories Expo, and test-ride the latest bikes in the UK's biggest demo day.

It's the perfect festival for the whole family, with special activities to keep the kids entertained, including the return of the CycleActive Skills School which is the perfect introduction to cycling techniques for adults and children alike.

As with last year, BikeRadar Live's world-class facilities include on-site camping with a kids and family area, secure bike lock-up, showers, bike wash, workshop, picnic area and much more.

Pete Stothard, Publishing Director for Future's sports portfolio said:

"BikeRadar Live 2009 was a great event and feedback was universally positive. Now we need to build on last years event and make sure that 2010 is bigger and better. Brands Hatch is a spectacular venue with superb facilities. The layout of the circuit means that the track action will be so much closer to the heart of the festival and the opportunities for the dual slalom and dirt jumps features are very exciting indeed. Add to that the location of Brands we're confident that we'll be attracting a bigger audience with more to see and more to do."
