With adventure bikes becoming increasingly popular, it's probably no wonder Moore Large's in-house brand Forme has released the Hooklow, a go-anywhere road bike with drop bars and disc brakes - Aoife Glass / Immediate Media
Forme names its bikes for areas in the Peak District, where the company is based. The Lathkill MTB comes with a RockShox Pike fork, Hans Dampf tyres and trail-oriented geometry - Aoife Glass / Immediate Media
The King Carapax helmet from Alpina is a lightweight enduro-focussed helmet - Aoife Glass / Immediate Media
The Knog Milkman isn't new, but the combination lock version of it is. They may not be the most secure but apparently these little locks are very popular for cafe stops. The combination version does away with that risk that you might loose your keys and get you and your bike stuck somewhere. You're okay so long as you remember the combination - Aoife Glass / Immediate Media
The MX80 is a leisure/commuter shoe from Lake - Aoife Glass / Immediate Media
Lake has also released a new mountain bike shoe for general purpose, the Lake MX168 - Aoife Glass / Immediate Media
These rather fine-looking leather mountain bike boots from Lake are designed for enduro use. They come with a reinforced toe area, Boa lace system and 'Ice-lock' grip system on the sole. Those little squares are designed to move and help grip on slippery surfaces - Aoife Glass / Immediate Media
The Moda Interval bike can be built up to whatever specifications the customer desires - Aoife Glass / Immediate Media
O'Neal has possibly the loudest-looking helmet we've ever seen on display, and there's even matching gloves! - Aoife Glass / Immediate Media
Polygon is another new brand for Moore Large, and the new Collosus N9 all-mountain bike has already been attracting attention - Aoife Glass / Immediate Media
We spotted a prototype reflective jacket from hi-vis experts ProViz. The new jacket, shown here in black (with the image on the right lit by the flash) will also be available in navy and possibly some other colours - Aoife Glass / Immediate Media
Rie:sell mudguards are lightweight, plastic and bright. There are front and back options and they retail at £6.99 per guard. - Aoife Glass / Immediate Media
We spied a World Champs jersey signed by none other than Greg Minnaar. Minnaar is sponsored by O'Neal, who are new to Moore Large for 2016 - Aoife Glass / Immediate Media
The Infocrank power meter is unusual in that it records the output of both the left and right cranks directly. This gives it a degree of accuracy that has caught the attention of British Cycling, which is using it with its academy, and will be using with its Podium program after the Rio Olympics - Aoife Glass / Immediate Media
Is it an e-bike? Is it a fat bike? It's both! The Peugeot EFB01 - Aoife Glass / Immediate Media
With a plethora of products from UK distributor Moore Large, the Geared 2016 trade show has new kit from established brands like Knog and Forme, plus some eye-catching gear from new acquisitions Polygon, O'Neal, and Azonic.
From the brand-spanking new to the subtly updated, we've collated the standout products that will be gracing a bike shop near you in the near future, if they're not there already.
Highlights include the Infocrank power meter, which records accurately from both the left and right crank, a prototype reflective jacket from ProViz, new enduro boots from Lake and one of the loudest-looking helmets we've ever seen from O'Neal. That's not to mention the bikes!
On the road side of things there's the eye-catching Moda Interval, a time-trial or triathlon bike that can be built up according to individual specs. At the mountain bike end of the spectrum there's the new Polygon Colossus N9, an all-mountain carbon steed designed to tackle technical trails. Meanwhile the trail-oriented full-sus Forme Lathkill retails at £2600 and is one of the key models from the Moore Large in-house brand.
Last but not least – and probably likely to be the most polarising bike at the show – is the Peugeot EFB01 – a rigid electric fat bike. Yes, stop wincing, you read that correctly…
