UK company Islabikes has added to its range of children's bikes. There's now a luscious lime green bike for two- to six-year-olds, and a teal option for seven- to 12-year-olds.
Meanwhile, its red kids' bike now sports a new 'orangey zing'. All three feature modern graphics to complement the colourscheme.
In addition to the new coloured bikes, Islabikes has also introduced a 'buy online' feature to its website in time for Christmas.
Isla Rowntree, founder, said: “[Allowing people to buy] online will hopefully free up our busy phonelines and make it easier for customers to place their Christmas orders. It also means our customer services team, which has historically taken orders over the phone, will now be able to spend more time answering customer queries, offering advice and giving technical assistance.”
The company is also running a promotion: every customer who orders a bike this month has the chance of winning a refund. A random UK sales order will be drawn out of a hat at 5pm on every Friday in October 2014. The winner will then receive a full refund on the most expensive bike in their order, including any accessories fitted to it.
Rowntree said: “We want to encourage customers to think about bicycle Christmas presents early. We want to fulfil all our Christmas orders during this incredibly busy time of year and don’t want anyone to be disappointed because they’ve left their present-buying too late.”
