The winter edition of the Kona Mash-Up kicks off this Saturday, 5 December, at Glyncorrwg mountain bike centre in AfanForest.
More than 350 riders have already signed up for the race, which has a choice of two categories: Technical or Enduro.
The Enduro category will take riders on a 40km loop of the area’s world-class trails, with some timed sections thrown in.
The Technical class involves a loop of the White’s Level trail with timed singletrack and downhill sections.
Registration is open on Friday afternoon/evening and Saturday morning, and you can still enter online until Friday morning or on the day (with £5 surcharge).
There will be an event village (weather permitting) at the top of the Windy Point climb, where basic refreshments will be available to buy.
