Hiding behind the reflections of its own Perspex box is this exciting new 29er from KTM. The Prowler marks KTM’s entry into the world of long-travel 29ers, and it’s certainly got our attention.
The Prowler’s full carbon chassis uses a Horst linkage rear end — albeit one with an additional swing link — to deliver 150mm of travel.
Its geometry looks on point, with a 67-degree head angle, 436mm (17.2in) chainstays and a 459mm (18in) reach figure on the largest of three sizes.
It’s also Boost spaced, is designed around 1x drivetrains and includes its own adjustable chain guide.

This nicely-built example, the Prowler Sonic, is set to retail for €6,999, and wears SRAM XX1 Eagle, a 150mm Fox 36 Float Factory fork and DT Swiss XM-1501 wheels.
There’s no word on this model's availability, its weight or any further details quite yet, but we’ll be sure to bring you more as we get it.
