World Cup downhill star Matti Lehikoinen has signed to ride for Team Chain Reaction Cycles.com/Intense in 2010.
The Fin has been beset by injury in the past couple of years – he broke his back in 2007, both wrists in 2008 and had another bad crash at last year's Bromont World Cup round.
But he's now said to be back to full health and ready to fulfill the promise he showed in 2007, when he finished second overall in the series.
He joins Australian Chris Kovarik, Frenchman Julien Camellini, Canadian Claire Buchar, England's Matt Simmonds and Scot Ruaridh Cunningham on the squad, and will be back on Intense bikes after a year riding for Evil.
"All my injuries are in the past now, I'm healthy and looking forward to the upcoming season," said Lehikoinen. "The past two years have been pretty hard for me but now I'm really motivated and hungry for some good results in 2010."
