Lightweight, pocket sized, powerful, and versatile the Road Drive 500 could be the ideal urban commuting light.

The new Lezyne Road Drive 500 isn’t much bigger than a credit card, but it packs a punch.

The bike light measures just 86mm x 54mm x 12mm thick and only 75g. Even with these tiny proportions it has a maximum output of 500 lumens. The 1100mAH battery has up to 35 hours of run time on the 15 lumen Femto flash mode. On full constant 400 lumen power it’ll last for 1.5 hours.

If you want more run time than the 1100mAH battery can provide the Road Drive 500 is compatible with Lezyne’s Infinite Light Power pack+ range.

Aero design

Lezyne claims that the light is more aerodynamic than any other front light that attaches to a quarter turn mount (either Garmin or Wahoo).

The light can also be combined with Lezyne’s aluminium Flexi Forward Mount and the Flexi Aero Mount. The Aero mount is compatible with most 2-bolt mount systems on one-piece cockpits, whilst the Flexi Forward fits standard round bars.

The light itself looks like good quality. It's made from CNC’d aluminium with a crystal lens that's surprisingly good at lighting the way for such a small unit.

A quarter-turn fitment is included with the light so it can be fitted under your bike computer.

The light is IPX7 waterproof rated and features a USB-C charge port. It also features a user-replaceable battery, which meets the EU battery regulation (2023/1542) requirement.

The Road Drive 500 is priced at £60 / $59.99. The Flexi Mount and Flexi Aero Mount are priced at £50 / $49.99.
