Team Europcar riders debuted the newest addition to the Louis Garneau helmet range on stage two of the 2015 Tour de France Sunday. The new Garneau Sprint helmet features a compact design for decreased drag, with venting at the sides and back. The helmet slots in between the Louis Garneau Course aero helmet and the P-09 in terms of price and claimed aerodynamic benefit.

The Garneau Sprint features a new adjustment system that allows users to modify the fit one-handed, Garneau says, plus a new strap system.

There are five external vents at the sides and rear of the helmet, and internal airflow comes via deep channels inside the helmet.

The garneau sprint has a longer back than standard helmet:

Garneau claims the helmet weighs 9.7oz / 275g.

The Garneau Sprint helmet will come in white, neon yellow or black for the surprisingly inexpensive price of US$125 / £TBC / AU$TBC. Europcar riders are of course riding in a custom Team Europcar version.
