Marin have brought out a range of limited edition UK-only hardtails, called White Line and Black Line, which look to offer excellent value for money.
The bikes all share the same frame, built from triple-butted hydroformed 6061 alloy. The standard models cost £899 and come with a Shimano Deore groupset and RockShox Tora SL fork. A women's version is also available, with Avid Juicy 3 disc brakes instead of Deore.
There's also a Pro version of each bike with a higher spec, including an upgraded XT groupset and Hayes Stroker Carbon brakes. The race-ready Black Line Pro comes with a RockShox SID fork and Mavic XM-317 rims on Hope II hubs, while the more trail-friendly White Line Pro gets a Fox 32 F100 RL fork and Mavic Crossride wheels – all for £1,499.
Marin UK spokesman Keith Jepson, of Max Bikes PR, said: “We simply wished to make a range that is only available in the UK; an exclusive limited edition if you like. We look forward to seeing the bikes out on the trail.”
