Mountain Biking UK is proud to present its 400th issue this month, with the team at the mag celebrating this incredible milestone with a special bumper edition.

The landmark issue is marked by a Sgt. Pepper-style cover and massive feature paying tribute to 50 mountain bike heroes from all eras and disciplines of the sport.

Have your favourites made the cut? The mag is on sale now – and look out for an accompanying episode of the BikeRadar Podcast soon.

What else can you expect? Issue 400's bumper bike test looks at eight trend-setting 2022 machines, from XC to enduro, downcounty to downhill.

There's also a group test of the latest trail and enduro wheels, a classic cross-country ride in the Elan Valley and the usual array of tales from the UK MTB scene.

Each copy also comes with a 20-page Mint Sauce comic book, and if you buy the print edition you will get a classic MBUK sticker sheet.

Add a chance to win your own Jo Burt artwork or a set of grips and pedals courtesy of DMR Bikes, plus a massive Muc-Off giveaway for subscribers, and it’s an unmissable issue of Britain's best-selling mountain biking magazine.

What's more, for the first time, the mag will come in an easily recyclable paper wrap.

You can pick up a copy of MBUK issue 400 in shops from Wednesday 29 September and you can subscribe to MBUK here.
