Entries have opened for a pair of gruelling mountain bike events held over a festival weekend near Bristol.
The Ritchey Bikefest on 8-9 June will give mountain bikers a chance to ride the free-flowing all-weather single track course at Ashton Court in 12-hour and six hour events over a weekend festival of mountain biking. A three hour novice race is also on the cards.

Bristol bikefest
The Bike Fest, now in its 12th year, mixes gruelling racing with a party atmosphere. A DJ and bar will set up in the race village on the grounds of Bristol Cathedral Choir School, next to the course.
The 12-hour event takes place on Saturday 12 June and the six hour race and novices' event the following day. Races can be ridden solo or as two-up teams. Entry to the 12 and six-hour races cost £35 per person and the three hour event £29.
