In the market for a new mountain bike? Want to do your part to support mountain bike trail advocacy? If so, you’re in luck.
For the fourth time, Niner Bikes is auctioning off a handful of framesets decked out in custom paint schemes to benefit the International Mountain Bike Association, which works to promote mountain bike trail development, access and advocacy around the world.
This year Niner is stepping up and offering eight Jet 9 RDO frames, each with a painted to match Rock Shox Sid XX fork, to the highest bidders.
Niner expects the allure of its top of the line 4-inch carbon framesets, valued at US$3,770 each, will make this its most successful IMBA auction to date. The company hopes to raise more than US$30,000 for IMBA this year.

“We can’t wait to see the final results. The money raised will directly benefit our trail building and advocacy programs," said Rod Judd, IMBA’s membership manager.
The eight frames will be auctioned off in two groups of four. The first round of auctions is now live, with auction management courtesy of The Pro’s Closet, and will run through May 12. The second round will run from May 13-23. These auctions are available globally, with reasonable flat rate shipping.
