Updates abound

The Vault is constructed with Pivot's proprietary hollow-core, internal-molding carbon process. This production style enables Pivot to create an ultra-lightweight frame with proper stiffness. For consistency, Pivot takes the extra step of size-specific carbon layups so that every rider has the same riding experience.

A 1.5in tapered steerer leads the way - Pivot

A new 1.5in tapered, full carbon fork with 12mm thru-axle is on the front. That fork can handle massive tires up to 48mm. From there, Pivot lowered the bottom bracket, and shortened the chainstays. The refined geometry is said to provide "incredible cornering, great clearance for pedaling and obstacles and the stability you need for those tricky off-camber sections." On or off the dirt, it's built to "bring out the best in your skinny tire skills."
