Praxis Works has officially announced the release of its long awaited Wide/Narrow mountain bike chainring for 1x drivetrains.

Praxis's new 1x Wide/Narrow rings are CNC-machined from 4.5mm-thick 7075-T6 aluminum plate and are offered in 32, 34, 36, and 38-tooth sizes for 104mm BCD crankarms. In theory, the machined-only construction should reduce these chainrings' longevity relative to the company's forged and machined models but given the material used and chainring tooth profile, we expect that these will last at least as long as other narrow/wide offerings.

Praxis works has finally released its long-awaited wide/narrow chainrings for 1x mountain bike drivetrains:

Praxis Works now has its own wide/narrow-type chainring for 1x mountain bike drivetrains

One upside to the simplified manufacturing process is a reduction in price. Retail cost for the new 1x Wide/Narrow chainrings is US$50-55, depending on tooth count.
