PRO, Shimano's component and accessory arm, has a new bike travel case called the Mega. Somewhere between a hard and soft case, it uses a rigid metal frame as its base, with fully adjustable mounting points for the fork and rear dropouts. It also has a chain guide and rear derailleur protector.

Inside are numerous Velcro straps and adjustable protective pads that cover the most vulnerable areas, plus zipped pockets for pedals or spares. The wheels slip into external, zipped pockets, and the whole thing is easily transportable with chunky handles and four tough, steerable castors.
