Rapha to screen films about icons of road racing

First movie online tomorrow, for 24 hours only

Rapha have teamed up with Ridley Scott Associates (RSA) to produce a trio of short films about three road racing icons – Johan Museeuw, Sean Kelly and Dario Pegoretti.

Inspired by the story-labels found inside Rapha's Club Jerseys, the mini-movies are described as "cinematic portraits exploring the passion, history and drama of the sport".

One film will be screened in HD at www.rapha.cc each Friday for the next three weeks, and each will only be viewable for 24 hours. The first film, which will appear online tomorrow (13 August), is A Throw of the Dice, director Nick Livesey's dreamlike ode to Museeuw.

That'll be followed by Two Broad Arrows, Adrian Moat's tale of discovery inspired by Sean Kelly, on 20 August and Of Steel, Ben Ingham's intimate view of Dario Pegoretti in his workshop, on 27 August. You can watch trailers for all three films below:
