Team Sky clothing sponsors Rapha have launched a Victory T-shirt and jersey celebrating the success of Chris Froome and his team at the Tour de France 2013.
The slim-fitting black cotton T-shirt’s simple design carries the outline of mainland France, with the names of the nine squad members inked in. It costs £35/US$50 and is available in the UK now.
The £80/US$120 jersey uses Rapha’s characteristic design – a yellow arm band on black, with a matching broad stripe down the back. It’s not just another piece of memorabilia, however, employing two wicking, antibacterial fibres. The side panels use a more open mesh to help body heat escape better. The jersey will be available in the UK in late August/early September.
US Rapha fans can lodge their interest in both items via the Rapha website’s Inform Me function, though the T-shirt is expected to land Stateside next week.
Before the Tour, Rapha launched a cap, musette and scarf, among pieces of their La Centième Collection celebrating the 100th edition of the race.
