This year's Sea Otter Classic saw a double win for Team Norco's Jill Kintner, after she took the top spot in both the dual slalom and downhill events. Kintner's weapon of choice for her DH gold was a prototype 650b Norco Sight Carbon. Meanwhile, Aaron Gwin took the win in the men's downhill aboard his Specialized Enduro 29er trail bike.
The fact that all three wheel sizes were pitched against one another made this an iconic race. Despite differences in hoop format, the top 10 male downhill competitors were still only separated by less than two seconds.
