Hot on the heels of Tate Labs announcing a Bar Fly Garmin mount for mountain bikes, SRAM has announced an MTB version of its QuickView computer mount.

Sister company Zipp has also announced a time trial/triathlon QuickView for aerobar extensions. Both mounts will be available in July with a suggested retail price of US$20/€18 (UK prices to be confirmed).

The SRAM QuickView MTB mount uses a split clamp with top access to a T25 pinch bolt, and weighs a claimed 22g. By placing it on the handlebar, the rider can adjust the angle of their Garmin, which mounts securely with a quarter-turn engagement.

Unlike the QuickView road mount, which puts the computer in front of the bar, the QuickView MTB mount has it hovering over the stem to keep the computer better protected.

The Zipp QuickView TT features a 22.2mm clamp for mounting on aerobar extensions. It uses a single T25 bolt, weighs a claimed 18g and uses the standard Garmin quarter-turn engagement.
