Thule introduces fat bike upgrade kit for T2 hitch rack

Thule has an upgrade kit for its popular T2 rack that allows it to carry fat bikes by their massive tires

Swedish rack and accessory manufacturer Thule has introduced an upgrade kit for its popular T2 hitch rack, allowing it securely hold fat bikes by their voluminous tires.

The T2 is a tray-style rack that holds bicycles by their front and rear wheels. The T2 Fat Tire Kit (Thule model 919) retails for US$39.95 and consists of front and rear wheel cradles that can accommodate fat bike tires up to 5in wide (2in wider than standard T2 wheel cradles). The rear wheel cradle has an extra long ratcheting strap that feeds into a spring-loaded buckle to keep the wheel secure on the road.
