Genesis’s steel road bike line has now been joined by 2013 bikes with new top and tail price points within the range.

At the entry level, the Volant alloy road frames boast racy geometry. Affordable builds include the £649.99 Shimano 2300 Volant 00 and £799.99 Sora (without those pesky thumb levers). There’s also a Tiagra model at £999.99, and 105 coming for the high-end Volant 30.

At the top of the range is the new Equilibrium Ti. It features the same excellent geometry as the steel Equilibrium, but with a tapered head tube (with a tapered carbon fork with mudguard eyelets).

The double butted titanium Equilibrium frame also has mudguard mounts, making it a great four-seasons ride. The complete bike will retail for £2,299.99.
