Now in its third year, the 12:12 TORQ In Your Sleep mountain bike enduro takes place over the August bank holiday weekend (29-30) and is set to be bigger and better than ever.

Based at Minley Manor, Hampshire, organisers promise that the eight-mile course through heathland, beech woods, pine forest and open parkland will include a mix of "fun inducing singletrack, fire road and wicked descents".

The route is sure to take on a whole new dimension after the sun sets, and there'll be a revamped arena with trade stands and a live band to help keep you motivated from midday to midnight, plus a DJ and disco lights at the bridge, and free beer at the end of the race.

Entries are now open. You can ride solo, as a pair or a team. Competitors must be over 16. For more details, visit www.gorrick.com.
