Video: Sam Reynolds’ behind-the-scenes MBUK photoshoot

BikeRadar Live dirt jump champion to defend title this weekend

Published: July 5, 2010 at 2:10 pm

DMR rider Sam Reynolds took the win at the inaugural MBUK Dirt Jump Invitational at BikeRadar Live last year, and is set to defend his crown at this weekend’s event at Brands Hatch, Kent.

On Saturday there'll be a practice round and two scoring rounds, followed by one more scoring round on Sunday. The judges will add the points together to decide which four riders go on to the grand final.

There, they'll go head-to-head for the winner-takes-all cash prize of £5,000. At this point the scores will be wiped clean and the crowd will join as a fourth judge to decide the victor. The full list of riders is at the bottom of this page.

Sam appears in the Super Bikes section of this month’s Mountain Biking UK magazine (issue 253) with his DMR 898 Team Issue bike – built with super-trick bits including Reynolds carbon rims, RockShox Pike forks with BlackBox Labs technology, and prototype DMR Superlight Microdrive 28-hole hubs. You can see Sam’s bike at BikeRadar Live.
