What it's like to take part in the week-long mountain bike challenge

Mercedes-Benz Vito Sport didn't just help sponsor this month's Gore Bike Wear TransWales, they also sent a keen mountain biker on their staff to experience what it's like to ride it.

The seven day, multi-stage event, which started and finished in Builth Wells, attracted 300 riders across several races, including the week-long full TransWales. This covered around 550km and 15,000m of climbing, with riders camping out each night between stages.

Mercedes-Benz UK's van product manager, John Reed, tackled the four-day Mini TransWales, set up to allow people who can’t commit to the full week the opportunity to ride, and you can check out his experience in the video below.
