British Cycling’s Olympic Development Riders, Annie Last, Kenta Gallagher and Grant Ferguson, are gunning for London 2012 and a place in Olympic history.
Of course that requires hour after hour of strenuous fitness training, hours in the gym and countless miles on the road bike. That said, modern XC race tracks are increasingly technical and are beginning to weight bike handling as heavily as all out fitness.
