YT Industries GmbH has said it "will do everything possible so that no customer will suffer a loss" and the brand has "started to refund several orders" after entering self-administration in July.
The German mountain bike brand has issued a statement updating customers and the industry on the "on going restructure", acknowledging that it takes "full responsibility and [is] doing everything we can to regain your trust" after a number of customers were left in limbo following July's announcement.
After placing orders, some YT customers were left without a bike and out of pocket, unsure if they’d be refunded.
YT’s latest statement promises customers it is currently working on a solution to this and is confident all cases will be resolved in a matter of weeks.
What did YT say?

The statement reads:
“We want to sincerely apologize once again for the inconvenience caused by our ongoing restructuring. We understand that waiting for a resolution is frustrating and we want to assure you that we’re working hard to remedy the situation.
"We’re actively working with the involved payment providers on a legally compliant solution that will allow us to resolve every customer case. While we can’t give an exact date just yet, we’re making great progress within the given legal framework. We have already started refunding several orders and are confident that all cases will be sorted out in the coming weeks.
"Rest assured, we will do everything possible that no customer will suffer a loss due to this situation. We’re taking full responsibility and doing everything we can to regain your trust.”
Since YT Industries GmbH announced its insolvency, its full-power eMTB, the Decoy, has launched and is now available online (with a shipping date of 21 August), along with YT’s other models.
