The Mako is a bit longer in the back than the majority of women's packs we've tried.
It's replete with masses of storage space for kit - two full length pockets, three mesh stash pockets, an organiser pocket and a bungee provide homes for everything you could ever need on a day ride. The harness is more than up to the job of supporting a heavy load, but the relatively un-sculpted back gets a bit sweaty under the sun. The bladder is another Nalgene affair - narrow-necked but substantial - which sits in its own sleeve at the back of the main compartment and comes complete with the great magnetic bite valve 'park'.
