Our review
So versatile, and a fit that sticks to your body like glue. Not cheap though, and doesn’t come with a bladder

Primarily designed for adventure racers, Wingnut packs, and especially the Hyper 3, are lightweight, totally flexible and hug the body. All Wingnut models use highly durable sail ripstop cloths to ensure waterproof, lightweight construction and are designed to fit low on the back and right on your hips.

If you’ve only ever worn high-back-fit packs you’ll need to give it a ride or two to ‘tune in’ to the modern way of doing things with lightweight packs. A new top loading bladder pocket takes any bladder (up to 3 litres), while the main compartment is free from any internal pockets.

Twin hip zip side-wing pouches are ideal for those immediate-access items and the outboard mesh cargo pouches are perfect for stuffing gloves, old gel wrappers and so on while in motion. The low all-up weight need not be confused with fragility as we’ve beasted our Hyper 3 through three straight years of abuse.
