Supplied with fitting kits for all cars, after minimal construction the Advanced is ready to mount. Steel straps take care of security, and quick-release levers aid speedy fitting, though we’d have preferred a more positive feel.
The soft rubber cradles have Velcro straps and can rotate to fit top tubes or seat tubes, but can also slide off the support arm. We struggled to mount a 54cm cyclo-cross frame on the widely spaced arms, so beware with fat-tubed small frames. Two straps hold bikes still and the rack folds flat with two bolts removed.
