The Six Pack is the biggest light in Exposure’s CFD (Cable Free Design) arsenal. It’s a proper singletrack searchlight, and boasts an extensive feature list to boot.
It packs six LEDs into the front of that sculpted, laser-etched barrel to launch a powerful mega-lux beam way into the far distance. The focused beam means you still need a helmet-mounted lamp for more technical trails though, so you’re looking at a very expensive package – even if the Six Pack itself is fairly priced for its performance.
Features include a remote switch, a rear light and a port for an auxiliary battery. Standard battery life is more than enough for most rides, particularly as you rarely need full power. A super-bright double row of LEDs on the back plate give continual output and battery level feedback.
As long as you check the light and clamp are secured you’re only likely to knock it off in a crash. It is a worrying amount of money to potentially roll off into the darkness if you’re impact prone, so we kept it stashed safely in a pack on rides that started before dusk.
