THE's MX-inspired styling carries right through to the Shroud, and delivers the same excellent protection.
We tested the chrome version (which we hadn't expected to like, but had to admit looked damn fine) but it's also available in black, blue, red, white or yellow, so you can work your colour scheme down to the finest detail. We're going to gripe about the zip ties because they feel like a cheap call and O rings are a much better way to attach these things, but we did like the additional strip of Velcro that can be used for extra security. The styling probably lends this more towards downhill than cross-country, and if you're getting serious then it's worth noting that it's also available in the more expensive Lexan material as well.
