Enve’s handlebar/stem pairing is finished in a classy matt carbon and looks a class above the competition. The bar has neat touches such as bullet point ends with built-in end caps, and the stem is similarly classy in its construction, although we’d prefer a more substantial clamp in case of over-tightening the titanium bolts.
We’d also have liked washers on the bolts. Performance-wise, both bar and stem balance stiffness and vibration-culling very well – it’s a very high performing cockpit.
But there is no getting around the price – they're asking a significant amount of cash, and it’s outperformed by others for substantially less.
