The Typhoon’s carbon sole feels thinner than most and very stiff, but still includes one heel and two mid-sole vents, and also accepts a Speedplay adaptor.
Pristinely white perforated microfibre uppers with small mesh panels and a toe vent look classy, are tough, spacious and secure, though we couldn’t quite fasten the ankle ratchet tight enough.
The tongue is well cushioned and vented, and the buckle has a single click release for fine adjustment. A little weighty for the price, but these perform well for those with long, average width feet.
