The Abus Arica features a rear light with two LEDs integrated into the closure dial. This is a good idea but we found the push button stiff and it can only realistically be pressed when the helmet’s not being worn.
The fit and ventilation is good for a helmet of this price, but the edge of the removable peak interfered with our vision while the holes allowed light into our eyes.
Although the Arica is available in a range of colours (including pink and black), our test lid’s brown straps looked ‘dirty’ from new.
