The venting is excellent, there’s a wasp-proof mesh on the inlet ports, and the minimal weight and highly adjustable fit make it ultra-comfortable.
The peak does sit a little low, but we popped it out of its central retainer, pushed it up and the problem was solved. The Makrolon shell will deflect minor bumps, but you’ll need to take care with the exposed EPS foam at the rear.
