The simple design, stretchy upper and thin palm make Alpinestars' Aero gloves hard not to like. There’s no Velcro wrist closure here, just a thick elasticated band that keeps things feeling snug without being overly tight.
The palm fits the hand well, with no bunching at all when gripping the bar, making these some of the comfiest gloves out there. We do have one niggle though – the silicone print applied to the index and middle finger to add more grip on the brake lever gets extremely slippy when wet.
The overall fit is really good, and the stretchy backing helps with ventilation but is still tough enough to ward off bramble snags and other scrapes. The snot wipe on the thumb is handy, and they’ve lasted a good couple of months with no signs of wear.
